Why are we introducing age verification? Woope is intended for users who are 13 years of age or older. How does it work? When you sign up for Woope, you’ll be asked to enter your date of birth. For existing users who joined before this feature was introduced, Woope will request your birthday the next time you sign in if it hasn’t been provided yet. Your birthday is securely stored and used only to verify your eligibility to use the platform. What happens if someone is under 13? If our system determines that a user is under 13 years old, their account cannot continue to use Woope. The account will be securely removed, and the user will be informed that they do not meet the minimum age requirement. If this happened due to an incorrect date of birth, they can contact our support team at support@woope.eu. Is my birthday public? No. Your date of birth is private by default. Woope includes a Show birthday privacy setting, allowing you to decide whether your birthday appears on your public profile. You remain in control of your personal information. Privacy first We only collect the information necessary to verify your eligibility to use Woope. Your birthday is protected under our Privacy Policy, and we never sell personal information or use it for advertising purposes.
